I believe our spiritual wellness in a sense is the culmination of our practices in consciousness development. We begin to heal our mind by quieting it and heal our body by directing our mind. As our ability to do this grows we are evolving consciously and are able to slip into unity consciousness with greater ease. This however, could take years to develop. However, when we do develop the ability our inner- most consciousness, persona, spirit, etc.. soars and is able to connect with all things. Our mind is free to flow where it is needed to do healing work. Dacher states on page 76 that "Here, the mind drops into the heart" (2006). "Separation, isolation, disturbing emotion, confusion, doubt, and an imbalanced physiology are healed by our inner-most source" (Dacher, 2006). We begin healing through our rudimentary first practices, learning how to manage thoughts, emotion, body systems. We slowly evolve our spiritual/unity consciousness and as our body begins to gain greater health we are able to expand further our unity consciousness until we "are" and can with ease commune with all things, our physiology being an aspect of that.

It is very hard to focus on one thing at a time when so many things are attached to our thoughts. Even as humans we don’t speak but one word at a time. However, the thoughts attached to our ways of thinking allow us to remember many memories that trigger our emotions, feeling, and visions of experiences from the past, present and future, while reaction to a bucket of overwhelmed ideas occurring in the moment. I think these meditative exercises help us witness where our thoughts go, how to let them go, and redirect your attentions to observer the place we are in. Keep working on it, it can only get better.
